Next Relay Meeting on March 5th

Our next Relay for Life meeting will be Thursday, March 5th at 8:15 in Mrs. Nix's room, 7A3.  Bring any money that you have collected!

Meeting this week!

Thursday morning, Feb. 5 meet at 8:15 in Mrs. Nix's room (7A3) to finalize t-shirt orders, help student council prepare for carnation sales (all proceeds are donated to Relay for Life), and discuss Spring fundraising ideas (like a possible dunk tank for teachers during the Olympics week)!   :)   We have LOTS to discuss--be sure to join us!

T-shirt designs needed!

T-shirt designs for our team are due THIS FRIDAY-- November 21!   
Our theme is, "FIGHT THE FIGHT--It's not just black and white" and the t-shirt design needs to be simple enough to look good in one color of ink.   Help us out so that you are not stuck with a t-shirt design from teachers!!!   :)

This morning

The meeting this morning went GREAT!   We had 70 kids there to join us for more information.   We hope to see you all back at our next Relay meeting!   Keep checking this site and listening to the morning and afternoon announcements for more info...

Student Leadership Team

Relay has become such a HUGE club at our school over the past few years that we are in need of a Student Leadership Team this year.   If you are interested, be prepared to stay for a few minutes after our first big meeting next week to talk with Mrs. Nix.   Students on the Leadership Team will help us organize team events throughout the year.   More info. to come!

Welcome Back!

The results are in from 2008 Relay--once again we are the #1 middle school fundraising team!   We were 5th place overall raising almost $20,000 for the American Cancer Society last school year!   We would love for you to join our team this year to help us continue our fight against cancer.   Our first informational meeting will be next Tuesday, September 16 at 8:15 AM in Mrs. Nix's room (7A3).   Our teacher sponsors/team captains this year are once again Mrs. Hahn, Mrs. Healy, and Mrs. Nix--feel free to talk to any one of us with your questions about Relay!   We hope to see you next Tuesday at our first meeting!   We have a task at our first meeting--we need to come up with a theme!  :)
