All Classes

Students are testing for  the IOWA this week. In class we are completing Lab Reports, Reading Chapter 3 section 1 and outlining the section, and completing the section review 1-11. Others are working on the Cell Activity using technology or ompleting the Cell Drawings as an extension to  learn more about cells, organelles, and their functions.

Students should study nightly.

Today, students watched BrainPop videos about the different cycles. After each video the students were given a formative quiz verbally to get an overall view of how well the class is doing. Students were then asked to read Chapter 19, section 2 on Ecological Succession. A written quiz was given.

All Science Classes

Today in Red and Orange classes we used technology to review for the science test tomorrow. The students played a science jeopardy game, competing against a partner. After the review game, students completed Chapter 18 - Chapter review.

7th Grade Life Science

Today, we are working on a virtual lab where students will use technlogy to discover the effects of different color light on plant growth. If students do not complete this lab in class, they are to complete it for homework.
