LA - Today we took a quiz on Acts II and III. Then we broke up into small groups and assigned each group a scene from Act IV that they will perform tomorrow. The test on the entire play will be Tuesday, May 12th. QUOTES ARE DUE THAT DAY!
SS - We continued working on the decades project that is due on Thursday.
Thursday, April 30th
LA - Today we did an activity with Elizabethan Insults (you canker blossom!) and also checked the questions on Act II. We began Act III and will take a quiz on Acts II and III next Tuesday. Don't forget to recite quotes!
SS - We began our "Decades Project" today and will work on this til next Thursday when presentations will begin.
Monday 4/27
LA - Today we finished Act I of the play. Quiz tomorrow on Intro/Act I/Elizabethan power point.
Study guide questions due as well.
SS - No homework
Thursday 4/23
LA - We are reading "Taming of the Shrew" in class. Quiz on the Elizabethan power point and Act I will be next week. Please start working on memorizing your quotes!
SS - We took the open book test on Chapter 11 today. No homework.

LA - Today we reviewed participles...quiz tomorrow over them...Homework is pages 75 and 76 in the grammar workbook.
SS - We read section 9.1 in the book...homework is the 20 vocabulary words from chapter 9.

LA- Today we read through Scene 2 of Act II. Character maps are due on Monday, March 9th and the test over the second act will be that previous Friday, March 6.
SS - Today we read section 8.3 and took a homework check grade on the guided reading sheet for 8.1 and 8.2. I assigned a Civil War Project which is due Tuesday, March 10th. That same day we will have a Civil War food day! :)

Monday 2/23
LA - Today we took a quiz over chapters 1-6 in "Summer of My German Soldier." We then read Scenes 4 and 5 in Act I of DOAF. The test over Act I of "Diary of Anne Frank" will be this Wednesday. Tomorrow you will have time to do some work on your project in class.
SS - Today we continued trading stocks for the Stock Market Game. Then we read the start of chapter 8. Notebook check on Wednesday, and you will need the following 10 items:

LA - today we read through Act I/Scene 2 in the play "Diary of Anne Frank." You will have a test on Act I next week. There is a quiz next Monday on chapters 1-6 of "Summer of German Soldier," so read!!
SS - Today we began the stock market game. We also worked on the atlas/map activity which is due tomorrow.
