Week of Feb 8th

Monday: Returned Unit 5 Test 1. Began notes on writing linear equations given:

  1. a graph of a line
  2. given the slope and y-intercept
  3. given the slope and a point on the line
  4. given 2 points

Tuesday: Continued with notes. Warm up activity had students write the equation given 2 points by actually plotting the 2 points, finding the slope, identifying the y-intercept to write the equation.

Wednesday and Thursday: Writing Linear Equations given a table of values and connecting sequences with linear equations by writing in slope-intercept form.

Week of Feb 2

We are finishing up the first part of unitn 5. The Test #1 will be on Friday (changes from Thursday.

Early release is on Wednesday. We will be learning how to translate word problems into linear equations in slope intercept form and standard form.

On Wed and Thursday, we will be working with partners on a station rotation activity.

Week of Jan 26th ----Conference week this week

We will only see our classes 3 days this week.
