Welcome to Survivor Science!  Agents will be learning about water and the ocean by participating in a friendly competition between "tribes".  Tribes will participate in immunity/reward challenges along the way, which will help them earn points.  A weekly tribal council will also be held as an additional opportunity to earn points.  Each tribe within each class will work together to learn the material.  

Parents:  Part of the fun of this is winning points and prizes.  At the end there will be a Super Duper Survivor Prize Package that will be given to the winning team from all 3 AC Science classes.  The winning tribe in each class will be awarded a class prize and then will be entered into a drawing for the Super Duper Prize Package.  I would be extremely grateful for anything you could donate to this cause.  There will be no more than 4 students in the group.  Suggestions are:  small monetary amounts on gift cards, bags of candy, dollar store treats, etc.  Any help would be appreciated.  I am already providing rewards along the way.  As always, thanks for your support and help with my instructional programs.

HF:  Decorate your totem pole if you'd like (remember only one group member rec'd it) with an island type theme.  Also, if anyone has tiki, island things that they would care to donate to decorate our room, that would be most welcome.  I'm trying to come up with creative immunity necklaces, so if you have any ideas or supplies....please share.
