1. When/where does the movie take place?
2. Who are the main adversaries?
3. Who was trying to force a war?
4. What was the Zulu king's response to the British ultimatum?
5. What were some of the attitudes of the British towards the "Zulu Problem?" (describe 2)
6. Describe at least 3 geographical features that you observe as you watch the movie. Remember, describe, not just name.
7. What were the 2 main food sources of the Zulu?
Name and draw the weapon that the British feared the most (you may want to wait until later in the movie in order to see it more clearly).
9. What clever strategy did the Zulus use to trick the British?
10. Why do you think the British wanted a war?
11. Write a paragraph describing the treatment of the black Africans by the Europeans. Try to use examples that you saw in the movie.
