Thursday - 12/17 - Semester Test (We will be reviewing for 3 days for this in class)

Week of November 9 - 13

Monday - Finish the Absolute Value Practice worksheet from class.  Study for the equation retest. 

Tuesday - Complete the "Bacteria" side of handout for homework.  The Absolute Value Practice corrections are due tomorrow.

Wednesday - There in no official homework but you can always start studying for your quiz on Friday.

Friday -  Complete the Equations VS Inequalities packet for Monday.

Friday's Quiz will have absolute value equations, solving for a variable and translating word problems.

Week of November 2 - 6

Monday - Red, White and Yellow Classes - complete both sides of the writing algebraic equations handout.  Purple and Green - Complete the 1-7 Writing Algebraic Expression/Equations handout.

Tuesday - No School!

Wednesday -  Redo problems 4-7 on the Writing Algebraic Expression side of the last nights homework along with the evens on the other side.  This will be graded.

Thursday - Gave back Tests and went over the 10 starred Test questions. Here they are worked out: Download Answers to Test 10 Questions  Homework: Do Test corrections to the rest of your test. Friday - Red, Yellow, and White Class complete problems 1-15 from half sheet of paper.

Friday - Quiz covering Absolute Value Equations, Solving for a variable, and translating and solving word problems.

Week of October 26 - 30

Monday - Complete problems 7- 14 on the solving equations side of the handout.  All problems need to be solved on a separate piece of paper with checks. 

Tuesday -  Complete problems 1-6 with checks from todays handout.

Wednesday -  Complete the odd problems in the new Algebra 1workbooks on pages 11 and 12.

Friday - Have a SAFE and fun Halloween.

Friday's Test will cover multi-step equations and variables on both sides.  STUDY SESSION HAS BEEN CANCELED.  THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR UNDERSTANDING.

This was due Oct 14th and is the first grade of the 2nd nine weeks. It is VERY late and the last day it will be accepted is tomorrow (10/21)

Week of October 19 - 23

Monday -  Complete page 62 in the worktext.  Show all work on a separate piece of paper.  Finish the 4-8 Problem solving on Pythagorean Theorem.

Tuesday -  Study for quiz.  Review sections 1-2, 2-5, and 4-8 from your online text.

Wednesday -  Continue to study for quiz if you did not finish.  You will have exactly 15 minutes and the end of class to finish.

Thursday -  Home Depot Day!  Wear Orange!!!!!  Complete the combining like terms handout.

Friday -  Students are to do quiz corrections for homework.  These corrections will not add points to the quiz.  9-4/9-5 Pythagorean Theorem Practice corrections are due on Monday.  All late work is due no later than the start of class on Monday.

Week of October 12 - 16

Monday - We were in the computer lab taking the 1st nine weeks benchmark.  Complete the "Are you ready?"

Tuesday - Discussed translating algebraic expressions.  Complete the pink worksheet.

Wednesday - Review of 1 and 2 step equations.  Complete the 1-7 Practice worksheet 2-30 evens.  Here is the power point shown in class.  Download 2 Step Equations

Thursday - Today learned about The Pythagorean Theorem.  Homework is handout 9-4 numbers 13-18.

Week of October 5 - October 9

Monday - Finish problems 9-22 on today's handout.

Tuesday - Complete the odds on the simplifying radicals handout.
