Today we did our frog dissection. 

Homework tonight is to bring in gloves for the squid dissection on Friday.

On these days we did our virtual frog dissection on the internet, and then did some activities labeling the internal anatomy of a frog.  After that we reviewed the internal anatomy.

Homework this weekend is to bring in some plastic gloves for the dissections next week.

Today we finished up our environmental analysis from Friday, and then we read and did the section 3 and 4 review from chapter 12 to prepare for the beginning of our bean lab that we will start tomorrow.

We are starting our bean lab today, and going over the answers from the section reviews.  The class will also begin to present their environmental analysis conclusions to the class

On these days we will be working on our owl pellet dissection, discussing the role they play in food webs and food chains.

Today we took the last test of the CRCT and after that we finished up our pole to pole video which reviewed the biomes that we studied in our Ecology unit.

This week we will be reviewing for the CRCT, taking practice tests and going over concepts that need to be covered again.

There will be no homework this week.

Please be sure to get lots of sleep each night and to remember to bring yourself a snack to eat during the CRCT.

Today we took the vocabulary quiz.

There is no homework this weekend!

Today in blue, orange and purple classes we took a CRCT practice test, and then we went over the answers together.  After that if time permitted students studied with a partner for the vocab quiz tomorrow that will count as 2 quiz grades.

In the red class today we took the vocab quiz, and the grades were very good!  After that students read silently until the rest of the class finished the quiz.

Homework tonight is to study for the vocabulary quiz tomorrow and to please bring back the registration forms for next year that were passed out on Wed!
