Hightower's Food Service Manager is Retiring

    Bev Sharpe, the Food Service Manager since Hightower opened in 1993, will retire on December 19th.

    Jennifer Turpin will be the new manager.  Please continue to call 770-578-7226 and Jennifer will be happy to help you.

Hightower Trail Goes Green

Schools across Cobb County are going GREEN and now it's time for Hightower to do our part.

Beginning Tuesday, October 7th, we will start collecting lunch trays in preparation for recycling.  We will also begin selling Gatorade in cans to be collected at lunch for the Hightower recycling bin.

What is a Student Lunch?

A student lunch this year cost $1.75.

Student may take a main item, three side dishes, and a milk or juice drink.

A lunch must include three of the following items:  meat or alternate, bread, vegetable, fruit, or milk.

If students do not take the three items, then they will be charged a la carte prices for each item selected.

Example lunch:  Main item (chicken sandwich), milk, small salad, fruit of choice and mashed potatoes.

All items are priced individually and maybe purchased with cash or using lunch account.

Lunch Payments

Ways to make payment to your child's lunch account:

1.  Cash -  Please have student hand cash to cashier, and have them tell how much to put on the account.

2.  Check - Must be pre-printed from the bank with your name, address, and bank account number.  Checks may be written for more than one account.  Please write student's/students' id number on check.   Make sure to remind your child to tell the  cashier that the check is for more than one student.

3.  Credit Card - Online payment at www.mealpayplus.com.  There is a $2.00 fee for each transaction, and a minimium of a $20 payment (which can be split between students).
